Are you an experienced and qualified Company Secretary with experience of working with busy and demanding Boards and their Committees?

Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) is looking to appoint a dedicated Assistant Company Secretary, reporting to the Head of Legal and Company Secretary, to be responsible for providing corporate governance advice and company secretarial support to the Board of Directors and each of its four Committees.

Role description

This is a new role and there is considerable scope to develop and implement the systems necessary to run an effective Company Secretarial function.

You will have the emotional intelligence, experience and the gravitas to engage with the Chair, CEO, Board members, the Executive Team and external stakeholders to ensure the Board receives the support and advice it needs to conduct its business and also that the information which is submitted to the Board is delivered on time and is of the highest standard.

Essential skills

Whilst a degree is not essential you will be an experienced qualified Company Secretary (ICSA or equivalent) with experience of working flexibly with Boards and their Committees in a comparable organisation and will have the ability to bring your experience to bear in a challenging and demanding environment, in an organisation which is working on an infrastructure project of national importance.

I’ve been within recruitment for over a decade covering fast paced contract recruitment, project recruitment and account management, within large scale business and niche consultancy environments, all within the nuclear industry.
