Role description

Ready for your next project? Well, this is it. You will join a team responsible for the strategic delivery of decommissioning plans. As a Decommissioning Consultant, you will support the continued development of the programme and take a waste led approach to identify best value options.

 

You will be responsible for project delivery including decommissioning scenario planning, preparation for Care & Maintenance as well as reactor dismantling activities.

Responsibilities

You will have:

  • Engineering design and management experience.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including Construction Design Management and Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Experience providing technical expertise to projects from concept to close out within a gated project management process and maintaining effective integrated project execution strategies and plans.
  • Experience with environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

Essential skills

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience with nuclear decommissioning projects (deplanting, dismantling, demolition, decontamination, etc.), facilities shut down/post operational clean out, or a combination of the two.
