Role description

Within this position you will provide high quality co-ordination and support to the HR Team as they support Radioactive Waste Management in their mission to deliver a Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) in the UK.


You will be:

  • Supporting RWM’s Training team in managing the RWM Organisational Development & Training Plan, engaging with the OD/ Culture change agenda to support implementation and delivery of outcomes.
  • Support logistics and administration of learning and development solutions to support the people strategy and maximise company capability.
  • Engage with RWM’s Equality Diversity & Inclusion agenda including maintaining and coordinating the HR input to the EDI Action Plan.
  • Assist with generalist work across the HR team which could include supporting HR project work, preparing contracts of employment and other HR letters and  paperwork as required, ensuring compliance with best practice and relevant employment legislation.
  • Support the development, production and maintenance of employment policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practice and relevant employment legislation and recommending improvements.

Essential skills

An ability to work across many different business needs is essential so your excellent communication and time management skills will be invaluable. You will use your drive, and eagerness to learn, to provide support across the whole of the HR team and as RWM actively promotes and supports career growth, this a great opportunity to pursue continuous professional development (for example CIPD) whilst working within a diverse business environment. Whilst there is a definite focus towards L&D, you will gain exposure within a generalist team which will be excellent support for your continued professional development.
