Role description

On the PSM department, as a Mechanical PTW officer, you will be responsible for the technical clarification of work orders and Permits to test, as well the creation and validation of blockings/simulations.

You will prepare Permit to Work documentation and ensure strict compliance. Coordinating activities with different units will also be part of your duties.

Responsibilities

Tasks include also besides already mentioned
– Execution of blockings and simulations
– Overseeing In-field operator teams for establishing safe work conditions
(equipment alignment, depressurizing, de-energising, locking and tagging)

Essential skills

You are Mechanical engineer, with 5 years’ relevant experience in power plants, oil and gas plants or manufacturing plants.

You have mechanical work orders and blockings experience as user min. of 5 years, or as provider 2 years.

Detailed knowledge about the mechanical process documentation is expected and you are able to work on the different process diagram, isometrics, preparation of solution and support for inventories in the field. To successfully handle your daily tasks, you will also have to have a general understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and measurement/instrumentation technology.
