Role description

This is an opportunity for a qualified Project Accountant with proven ability with the use of Excel in manipulation of data, analysis of data and ability to exchange data between systems. As a Project Accountant you will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be a self-motivator who can deliver on time-frames and estimates.

Responsibilities

As a Project Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and issuance of Application for Payments and Invoices to the Intelligent Client for the project.
  • Providing analysis and reporting through to the GS EMEA Chief Financial Officer.
  • Preparation of financial accounts and forecasting information.
  • Building Relationships across the programme at all levels
  • Self-motivation – Be able to add value without being prompted. Take responsibility for actions and provide support as needed.

Essential skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an accounting qualification covering either ACA, ACCA or CIMA. In addition, you will have proven experience with Excel, awareness of HFM and use of SAP. Ideally, you will have worked within the nuclear industry or other highly regulated industries.
