We are currently looking for a Qualification Engineer for Nuclear Safety Equipment to support the activities of a major nuclear construction project (HPC). You would be based in Paris for an initial 1-year assignment with the possibility for extensions longer term.

Role description

As a Qualification Engineer, you would ensure that concerned Nuclear Safety Classified Equipment (e.g cubicles of I&C systems, mechanical & electrical components) are compliant with the Nuclear Safety Equipment Qualification requirements. It spans over the complete Life Cycle of the Project and aims at ensuring timely delivery of the qualified equipment and associated services to the Customer.

Responsibilities

To be accountable for the Progress, Cost, and Quality of the Equipment Qualification of the Project scope.
To be accountable for the Progress and Quality of the Equipment Qualification of the other Products lines scope.
Interacts with the Customers and their representatives to support equipment qualification activities.
Supports the Engineers in their interactions with the suppliers of equipment qualification and related activities.
Reports to the Project the progress as defined in the set of agreed KPIs.

Essential skills

Engineering degree in a relevant discipline
Nuclear Safety Training/Awareness
Risk assessment, FMEA or RAM study or equivalent
Experience in Engineering for the Design or the Validation of equipment for Nuclear Power Plant
Fluency in English and good communication skills
