Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) who are part of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority has an opening for an experienced GIS user to join them as they continue the Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) siting process.
The GDF project is a National Infrastructure Project and will provide a long-term solution for the management of the UK’s higher activity radioactive waste.
As Technical Siting Support, you will work with the Siting Managers and alongside the Technical Editor and you will contribute to the successful implementation of the GDF siting process.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your data management skills and contribute to the success of the established team implementing the site evaluation process. Your GIS experience will be key in this role, as you will be providing effective geospatial information capability, and data, records and knowledge management within the Siting and Engagement Directorate.
