Security Infrastructure Project Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to work on Sizewell C, a proposed new nuclear station that has been granted planning permission with construction expected to commence in 2024. It is a nationally significant infrastructure project with a vital role in the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. The project will have a big impact in the drive to reduce carbon emissions in the UK.

As a Security Infrastructure Project Lead, you will be responsible for developing functional intent into requirements and delivering security infrastructure projects for SZC site.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of primary technical security systems, including, Electronic Access Control Systems, CCTV and intruder alarm systems
• Develop functional intent into requirements and deliver security infrastructure projects for SZC site
• Responsible for the SIP (Security Infrastructure Provider) contract
• Integrate with Facilities management infrastructure Emergency Preparedness (EP) requirements such as fire systems and Emergency Broadcast Systems (EBS) to ensure best value for money and performance for SZC Project.
• Ensure all statutory, regulatory and site controls are complied with

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of electrical systems integration
• Experience of working in a security environment
• Familiarity with electronic Access Control systems
• Able to prioritise Project requirements, resources and track projects through to completion
• Strong communication skills
