MISSION:
You will be involved in an interesting project regarding the new medical isotopes reactor based in the Netherlands.
The position is a full-time job based in Alkmaar, Netherlands.
The task will start with FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis) but not limited to this scope. It is likely to cover the following tasks:
- Work with safety requirements which are derived from the DSR (Dutch Safety Requirements), functional, performance and robustness requirements applicable to safety systems to ensure that they are properly addressed in the design.
- Develop a fault and protection schedule for the reactor which supports the next SAR.
- Support deterministic assessment of internal and external hazards during detailed design.
PROFILE:
- With a minimum of 5 years of experience on this scope.
- With a master degree in Engineering. A degree in Nuclear Science constitutes a further asset.
- English speaker.
- With critical and inquiring mind, dynamic, rigorous and pragmatic.
- Able to write position papers and synthesis reports, able to write clear safety positions and argumentation.
- Good listener and communicator, capacity to develop personal contacts; good facilitating skills, diplomatic.
