Position Overview: Project Controls Manager
Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Controls Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support and Guidance: Providing support and guidance to site Project Managers on cost and schedule issues.
- Client Interface: Acting as the primary interface with clients and Business Unit VP’s to ensure deliverables are met, including monthly/periodic reports and project reviews.
- Process Compliance: Participating in Project Support Team activities and conducting periodic audits of processes to ensure contractual and procedural compliance.
- Meeting Coordination: Coordinating interface meetings between our client and field sites, ensuring effective communication.
- Site Management: Coordinating the start-up of new field sites and demobilization when projects are complete.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Primavera P6 Expertise: Proficiency in Primavera P6, including cost and resource-loaded schedules.
- Earned Value Management: Experience in Earned Value Management is a strong plus.
- Project Controls Knowledge: Knowledge of general project controls functions and the ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress.
- Tech Proficiency: Good computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI.
- SAP R/3 Experience: Familiarity with SAP R/3 is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Education: Some college or post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience: Ten plus years of experience in related project controls assignments.
- Certifications: Computer proficiency certifications or equivalent education is a plus.
