**Safety Analysis Engineer – Contract Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Analysis Engineer for an exciting contract role supporting the design and licensing of a revolutionary Natrium Demonstration reactor. Responsibilities:
– Perform transient analyses encompassing Anticipated Operational Occurrence (AOO), Design Basis Event (DBE), Design Basis Accident (DBA), and Beyond Design Basis Event (BDBE).
– Collaborate with safety methods engineers on establishing computational models.
– Engage across interdisciplinary teams defining requirements for Systems, Structures, Components(SSC) related functions.
– Document model development meticulously along with analysis processes.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
* A Bachelor’s degree or higher in nuclear engineering or relevant field
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within nuclear industry
* Proficiency in understanding thermal-hydraulic systems dynamics
* Experience analyzing operational occurrences using programs like RELAP5/SAS4A/SASSYS -1/GOTHIC/TRACE
* Expertise developing radionuclide transport analysis via MELCOR/RADTRAD/SRT tools

The ideal candidate will have submitted LBEs analyses directly to regulatory bodies such as NRC before. Familiarity with non-light water reactors’ risk-informed performance-based guidelines enhances candidacy significantly. SFR safety examination proficiency marks another significant advantage.
