Mechanical Technician – Nuclear Power Plant (Outage Maintenance)

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians to perform maintenance activities during refuelling outages at the Nuclear Power Plant. This role requires hands-on expertise with key mechanical systems while ensuring strict adherence to nuclear safety, quality, health and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and major overhaul maintenance on mechanical systems, including valves, pumps, chillers, diesels, HVAC and filtration systems.
• Conduct rigging, lifting, alignment, and bolting/torquing operations safely and efficiently.
• Inspect, repair, and replace components such as gaskets, seals, filters and strainers.
• Execute diagnostic testing and maintenance for diesel systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Support surveillance and periodic testing as required for plant maintenance.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Technician certificate or equivalent qualification in mechanical maintenance.
• Outage experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in valve maintenance, pump overhauls, rigging, lifting, lubrication and steam/compressed gas systems.
• Proficiency in using mechanical hand tools, measuring/test equipment and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality standards.
