Electrical / I&C Maintenance Instructor

Work Location: Onsite, Avilia Beach – Diablo Canyon, CA

Contract Length: 12 months, potential extension depending on project needs and

individual performance

Contract Details:

Responsibilities:
* Implement On-The-Job -Training (OJT) and laboratory evaluations.
* Participate in Academic Review Boards
* In-field observations of Mechanical Maintenance technicians
* Maintain relationship with the line organization by participating, as needed, regarding process,
training committees, job performance analysis and peer group calls.
* Analyze student performance gaps and apply appropriate remediation.
* Analyze exam results for understanding of student and/or program shortfalls.
* Provide oversight of student behaviors and demonstration of knowledge comp
* Resolve programmatic gaps from student feedback and management observation
* Timely communication of program challenges and student academic performance
* Maintain program configuration control through the Vision™ software database

Minimal experience
o 10+ years in the line organization as a mechanical maintenance technician or supervisor

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of providing knowledge and skills-based training to students in an accredited program.
• 5+ years of executing all phases of the SAT process (ADDIE)
• 5+ years providing technical fundamentals training (Maintenance)
• 5+ years in designing accredited programs; Schedule/Curriculum/Governance
• 5+ years managing Vision software database.
• Proficient in all MS 365 Office programs.
• Applying VISION software platform for program configuration control
• In-depth knowledge of the SAT process
• Demonstrated knowledge of the OJT/TPE process.
