For one of our clients, we are currently seeking an NSSS Piping Installation Supervisor. This role is an integral part of the NSSS organisation, with the primary objective of supervising NSSS piping installation activities on site. The position focuses on ensuring productivity while upholding strict Health and Safety standards, maintaining quality and technical compliance, and monitoring site progress. The supervisor will also be responsible for coordinating with other contractors to manage room availability, equipment installation, NDT progress, and interfaces with EM02/BNI. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the implementation of site requests such as NCRs, FCRs, and RFIs, ensuring all activities are executed efficiently and in alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the safety of activities in line with the CDM Regulations.
  • Enforces the installation requirement on site with authority over Contractor.
  • Ensures interfaces within the stakeholders and the access / scaffolding, and manages contingencies, notably through participation in the daily coordination meeting with the Contractor Superintendent.
  • Monitors the conformity of work progress on site (excluding documentation) with the 4 Weeks Look Ahead Time-Schedule, focusing on critical activities according to the decided formalism.
  • Implement the supervision programme for piping activities
  • Validate on site at the end of installation by conducting random checking activities.

Main Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in an equivalent / related role in the construction industry.
  • Meticulous and rigorous approach ton field supervision to achieve high professional standards.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to ensure smooth connexion between relevant stakeholders
  • Strong people leadership skills to coordinate efficient delivery of Construction Team and ensuring quick and efficient review of installation documentation.
  • Ability to work autonomously but with awareness of own limitations.
  • Fluency in French.
