Records Technician

Thomas Thor Associates is recruiting a Records Technician to join the EDF HPC project – a major UK nuclear new build project.
You will be responsible for managing the collection, verification, and control of engineering records, ensuring compliance with nuclear industry documentation and configuration standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project documentation process by collecting, reviewing, and validating installation and commissioning records.

• Ensure accuracy and traceability of records in alignment with project and regulatory requirements.

• Upload, track, and maintain documentation within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

• Interface with construction, quality, and engineering teams to ensure timely submission of records.

• Identify missing or inconsistent documentation and support resolution with the relevant stakeholders.

• Support audits and inspections related to record compliance and data integrity.

Profile

• Background in document control, records management, or project administration in a technical or industrial environment.

• Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS).

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a large, multi-stakeholder project team.
