Quality Engineers – Junior

Thomas Thor is looking for Graduate or Junior Quality Engineer to join the Quality team on the EDF HPC project – one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Europe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for early-career engineers with hands-on installation experience to develop their career in the highly regulated nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Streamline the implementation of the site Quality Management System (QMS) during construction and installation activities.

• Assist in inspection and verification of installation work packages, ensuring conformity with project standards and specifications.

• Collect and review Quality Records, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and installation documentation.

• Participate in site walkdowns, audits, and quality surveillance activities.

• Liaise with Engineering, Construction, and Quality Control teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

• Contribute to lessons-learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

• First professional experience (placement, internship, or 1-2 years) in construction or installation environment (e.g. energy, industrial, oil & gas, or utilities).

• Understanding of quality assurance or control principles.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to develop in a complex technical environment.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
