Medior Consultant Engineer Expert

The Role

As a Medior Consultant & Engineering Expert, you will act as both a process moderator and technical specialist, ensuring smooth collaboration and strong technical foundations across the project.

• Facilitate technical meetings and working sessions, ensuring solid preparation and clear follow-up.

• Monitor progress and maintain an efficient, transparent process.

• Engage stakeholders at all levels and safeguard technical consistency and alignment.

• Ensure a shared understanding of objectives, requirements, and boundary conditions.

• Identify, explain, and document key trade-offs in decision-making.

• Create a constructive working atmosphere and stimulate collaboration among participants

Qualifications and Experience

• An academic degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. nuclear technology, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering).

• Basic project management skills and experience in engineering projects, ideally with a focus on technical contract management.

• Experience moderating technical reviews, multidisciplinary meetings, and structured processes.

• The ability to switch between technical content and process-level thinking.

• Strong analytical skills and an understanding of how technical decisions influence scope, quality, schedule, and risks.

• Experience in stakeholder management and alignment across engineering, procurement, and project management.

• Familiarity with drafting technical requirements (e.g. using VANS/INCOSE) or technical contract frameworks.

• Experience in (semi-)public infrastructure projects, technical consultancy, or complex multidisciplinary environments.

• Affinity with knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
