What This Role Offers:
Location: Richland, WA
Full-Time | Onsite | 12-month contract | high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs
Schedule: 4 x 10’s
Salary Range: $80-$100/hr

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and evaluation of business cases for strategic projects and capital investments, including detailed financial models, cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and risk assessments

Provide technical authority and expert oversight to Enterprise Risk Projects, supporting Project Managers in executing deliverables safely, on schedule, and within budget

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and operational assessments to identify improvement opportunities and inform strategic planning

Engage senior leadership and key stakeholders through workshops, presentations, and facilitated meetings to secure alignment and buy-in

Oversee implementation of approved initiatives, monitoring progress and addressing deviations from the approved business case

Apply error reduction and human performance improvement methodologies to promote cost-effective, nuclear-grade work execution

Develop key risk indicators and performance indicators; produce business case performance reports and trend analyses

Identify opportunities to reduce critical path hours during refueling outages, directly impacting schedule duration and cost

Contribute to the continuous improvement of business case templates, tools, and analytical processes

Qualifications:

RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification required

Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field with 20 years of experience in a technical field; OR AA/AS degree in a related field with 22 years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 24 years of experience (an advanced degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience)

Demonstrated expertise in advanced project management techniques at a commercial nuclear power plant or comparable facility

Experience with on-line work management, refueling outages, and/or forced outage activities

Proficiency in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a regulated nuclear environment

Must be able to successfully complete an Expert Panel (oral board) interview
