Maintenance Integration Engineer – REMOTE

Thomas Thor currently has a long-term contract opening for a Maintenance Engineer that could be performed primarily from your home.

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Integration Engineer to focus on the integrated design of plant structures, systems, and components, and integrated analysis of the facility with a focus on Maintenance attributes. In this role, you will act as a Maintenance Engineer for advanced nuclear reactor projects or other highly technical projects.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
* B.S. degree in Nuclear, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or other relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university
* 5+ years direct experience in Naval or commercial nuclear plant maintenance and/or operation.
* Experience planning novel maintenance and repair work, including work isolation, rigging, pipe cutting, and welding, desired but not required.
* Strong understanding of the nuclear regulations, plant work control processes, operational design philosophies, and plant maintenance activities during normal and off-normal events.
