About the Role

As a Senior Ecologist or Environmental Consultant, you will be an essential member of this growing consultancy. You will work closely with the Directors and their teams of consultants to conduct diverse ecological surveys (such as UK Habs, NVC, BBS, GCN, and bat surveys), project manage various contracts and deliverables, and provide cost estimation and contribute to tendering.

This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of projects and clients, fostering professional growth across all aspects of consultancy.

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Proficiency in conducting ecological surveys, PEAs, and BNG assessments.
  • Possession of one or more protected species licenses.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in GIS.
  • A willingness to travel for work.
  • Knowledge of UK & European Environmental Legislation
  • Ecology related qualifications, chartership, or relevant work experience.
