As an I&C Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in authoring and reviewing I&C engineering documents and developing the I&C safety case chapter for submission to regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop nuclear safety functional requirements for I&C systems.
  • Author I&C system descriptions and platform description documents.
  • Prepare I&C reliability and qualification reports and assessments.
  • Support the development of the I&C chapter of the Safety Case for submission in the SMR-300+ GDA.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external organisations, including nuclear regulators.
  • Defend I&C design positions.
  • Play an active role in a project-driven and highly integrated engineering team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in integrated digital plant control design, particularly control and protection systems and diverse actuation systems.
  • Familiarity with applicable IEEE, IEC, ISA, and ANSI codes and standards, including nuclear-specific standards.
  • Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810.
