Role description

Within the Supply Chain Project Department, as a Buyer, you will be responsible to place orders of goods and services to reach Project objectives in term of quality, time schedule and cost.

You will be analyzing purchasing needs and evolutions of needs specifications, identifying potential new Suppliers locally and internationally and conducting the bidding process.

Leading the Contracts negotiation with Suppliers and coordinating interfaces with other departments are also part of your tasks.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Other than already mentioned, but not limited to:

  • Analyzing prices, propose alternatives, and leading Suppliers selection,
  • Analyzing the offer conformity with the requirements and the expected Project performance,
  • Report on purchasing performance, time schedule and progress, and on the activity in general,

Essential skills

You have a minimum of 3 years of buyer experience ideally on an engineering-procurement-construction-commissioning project, 1 year of experience in the nuclear field and an engineering background.

Contractual experience and the ability to negotiate are expected from you also.
You also are completely proficient in writing in English.
