Role description

As a commissioning engineer in the HVAC commissioning department, you will be planning and following-up of commissioning activities such as scheduling, supplier coordination, open points closure. Preparing and reviewing commissioning test instructions, including coordination of review and approval process with client and regulator are also important parts of your tasks.

Your previous minimum of 6 years of experience within the nuclear industry has brought you to the level of expertise concerning coordination of different actions, such as maintenance, commissioning, PSM, OIO and operators interfaces for assigned systems.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Besides the mentioned above, you will be
– Safety performing test activities
– Documenting test results (incl. collection of test data and preparing)
– Performing miscellaneous emergent commissioning items

Essential skills

You have a NUCLEAR or ELECTRICAL engineering degree and experience for several years in the nuclear industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Documentum is expected and an ability to coordinate system commissioning activities with other team members.

Most importantly you have advanced knowledge in nuclear power plant startup test activities (technically, organizational), incl. standard test equipment.

Knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) systems, and experience from a commercial nuclear plant (PWR – operational/test) and/or in system design engineering – especially fluid systems – are highly appreciated.
