For the site inspection and surveys to assess the NI commissioning performance duties, we are hoping to find consultants acting under the Health & Safety principles in a new-build NPP and committing to follow and promote the characteristics and attitudes of Nuclear Safety Culture.

Role description

As Commissioning Inspector, you will be closely communicating directly to relevant partners all essential information related to the quality of the realization.

You will be participating Commissioning Meetings & License Holder Commissioning Meetings: making sure that all commissioning documentation has an approved status; the pre-tests are done; report  (Phase A) is approved and site conditions for the concerned system allow to start commissioning Phase B. Responsibilities also include verifying the Ready for Commissioning Certificates.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Duties not already mentioned above are:
– Execution of surveillance actions required, also during ongoing tests to judge the conformity of the test
– Filling in the Surveillance Guides/Sheets with results of the surveillance actions, showing and justifying the fulfilment of the surveillance actions
– Detecting and/or recording the non-conformance and participate to the treatment of them
– Issue an observation notice for all inappropriate actions and/or for all results imperfectly controlled


Essential skills

To successfully complete your tasks as Commissioning Inspector, you must have comprehensive knowledge related of process commissioning activities and ability to interact with the commissioning teams in order to understand the priorities.

Due to your similar experience with QA commissioning processes, you are able to understand quickly project requirements, related Codes / Norms and you have a good level of written and verbal English.
