As a Team Leader for specialized systems (so-called EXOTIC systems*) you will be managing a team of Commissioning Engineers (3-4) dedicated to electrical start-up-works followed by applicable tests, inspections and maintenance.
You will be organizing work and coordinating with other commissioning branches. You’re responsible for verifying the electrical commissioning procedures for specialized (EXOTIC) systems following the nuclear and industry standards, as well for the quality, schedule and safety aspects of commissioning activities.
The expectation is to gain the technical overview of the Exotic systems and manage required support by 2nd & 3rd party
*the main components for EXOTIC systems are: CFQ – Transient monitoring/ PUR- Cathodic protection sys./ CPE – Seismic monitoring / JMY – Containment Inspection /CPT- Rock Tunnel/ JMT- Combustional Gas / JML- Penetration
Besides already mentioned, as Team Lead your tasks include
– Ensuring that all functions of the systems are completely fulfilled accordingly
– Troubleshooting complex electrical issues
– Tracking system progress towards completion including awareness, resolution, closure of open points reports and hand over to the client
– Day-to-day communication, coordination with other project disciplines
The candidate should be able to get familiarized with the dedicated job requirements in a short time frame
You have an Electrical Engineering degree or certification required in one of the following disciplines: large electrical installations, service and maintenance works, acting in team lead & managing roles
Experience expected from team leading position on electrical commissioning field works on large industrial or nuclear power plant installation
You have excellent troubleshooting skills and extensive knowledge for electrical- and process components operated in nuclear power plants
