RWM’s mission is to deliver a Geological Disposal Facility and provide radioactive waste management solutions. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the NDA, RWM’s programmes of work deliver Government Policy, and NDA Strategy, for radioactive waste management.
Role description
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Applying and further developing the Concept Evaluation Process
- Provide input to, and respond to outcomes from the Waste Management Department
- Co-ordinate and manage disposal system optioneering studies
- Specify and co-ordinate work to monitor alternative waste management options in compliance with SEA/EIA Directives
Essential skills
Your pragmatic and outgoing character will be an asset to a team that is expanding in the efforts of siting the GDF.
Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- Design optimization experience
- Optioneering
