Are you looking to add Nuclear as part of your expertise?

Join our consultants on the very last stages of a new-build NPP before the hand-over to the owner while enjoying the beautiful summer of the happiest country in the world!

Role description

The project is in an advanced stage of commissioning and the transfer of the plant to the owner is planned for the beginning of 2022. This phase requires strong operational collaboration with all parties involved.

As a Project Contract Manager, you facilitate the successful completion of the new build NPP Project while protecting the short and long-term interests of the EPC.

This includes developing constructive contractual relationships via a consistent approach in regular meetings and in contractual correspondence and building defensive/offensive claim dossiers for the owner to mitigate recurrent as well as specific contract-closeout risks.

Responsibilities also include proactive advising the Project Director on contractual aspects. You will be increasing awareness and implementing behavioural changes among the operational project team with respect to contractual opportunities, risks and obligations.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Tasks besides already mentioned also include:

  • Coordinating closely with other on-site support functions, in particular, the time schedule (delay analysis and tracking), supply chain (subcontractor claims and contract closeouts) and finance (cost analysis of changes and claims) teams.
  • According to the specific tasks assigned to the Contract Manager, you will be required to collaborate widely across the Project Team, with operational disciplines as well as other support disciplines, in particular, legal, scheduling, finance and supply chain.
  • In addition, you may be required to participate in meetings with the client.

Essential skills

You are an experienced Contract Management professional with the customer and/or suppliers, and ideally have experience in complex industrial and multicultural projects in sectors such as energy, building or transport.

You have an engineering degree supporting you with the technicalities of these contracts, and you are able to work independently while enjoying teamwork.

Especially we are looking to receive applications from candidates with strong skills in claim building from A to Z, and delay analysis.
