Role description

As a Health & Safety Manager you will be part of the team that covers all the enabling functions associated with health and safety for HSSEQ directorate.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Ensuring the maintenance, development, and continuous improvement of RWM’s health & safety policies
  • Support the effective operation of the RWM Health and Safety Committee and consultation of staff on health and safety.
  • Develop and ensure delivery of health and safety induction, training and awareness raising activities to support competence and positive culture of RWM staff and contractors.

Essential skills

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional qualification
  • Develop and ensure delivery of health and safety induction, training and awareness raising activities to support competence and positive culture of RWM staff and contractors.
  • Significant experience of implementing health and safety management systems, developing reliable and resilient safety systems and processes, writing policies procedures and reports
