Role description

The Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing and managing the EHS program for this large and complex turnkey project.

This role can be offered on a contract for up to 4 years, or as a permanent staff role with the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the EHS program;
  • Assist the Site Manager in handling the EHS related aspects of the construction site;
  • Inspect construction methods with regard to environmental, health and safety;
  • Ensure subcontractors are trained on EHS procedures;
  • Compile EHS reports;
  • Manage and administer hazardous material;
  • Coordinate with safety, health and environment authorities having jurisdiction over the project; and
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Fluent spoken and written Danish and English
  • Experience as a EHS Manager in a similarly complex EPC project that includes onshore, offshore, and Shipyard components, preferably for an end to end project.
  • Experience in European Offshore Wind, and preferably experience in a similar role in Denmark.
  • Relevant qualifications to underpin the key responsibilities and requirements.
