For an international client operating in Canada, we are currently/urgently looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager. This is a permanent position to be based in Stratford or London (Ontario).

 

 

Role description

This position requires the application of mature electrical engineering knowledge in planning and conducting complex projects.

You have a proven record of direct and sustained supervision of other professional engineers, plus you are project-oriented, this position is for you!

 

Responsibilities

As Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Modify established guides, devise new approaches, apply existing criteria in new ways, and draw conclusions from comparative situations
  • Plan detailed methods of solving assigned problems such as; design new structures; modify or add existing structures
  • Delegate work to your team and guide work progress through to scheduled completion
  • Coordinate ssignments with other groups.
  • Ensure peparation of adequate documentation, specifications, prototypes, etc.
  • Prepare, or oversee preparation of, cost estimates, engineering studies, reports etc.

Essential skills

  • 15-20 years in Electrical Engineering Design
  • Nuclear experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Effective project management and work coordination skills
  • Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO) designation

Rate/Salary

Salary: CA$100,000 to CA$125,000
