“The purpose of the role is to manage, update and ensure the implementation of the company’s Carbon Management Plan. This will involve identifying the specific areas of energy usage and carbon emissions, quantifying the energy consumption and carbon emissions, determining opportunities for cost effective and sustainable energy improvements and carbon reductions, ensuring the implementation of measures to reduce energy usage and carbon emissions, and monitoring and reporting on energy consumption and carbon emissions. This will involve benchmarking performance against other operators within the NDA group and similar industries, and ensuring that any changes to operations, activities and behaviours needed to achieve the improvements are implemented in an appropriate way.”

As an Energy Manager, you will join the Magnox fleet with the ability to be based at any of the 12 sites across the UK. You will join a growing team and have the ability to use your experience on nuclear sites, or other high hazard sites/industries, to enable reducing energy and water usage and carbon emissions.
