Role description

Within the Supply Chain Project Department, the main mission for you as an Order Manager is to handle in full autonomy several orders according to the Project strategy and to deal with all the commercial, supplier follow-up, delivery and administrative task linked to these orders.

You will be closely coordinating with the engineering and inspection teams, as well as construction and commissioning when needed and leading meetings such as contractual and gate review meetings with the Suppliers, and issuing of related minutes of meetings.

Participation to audits and inspections at Suppliers’ premises might also land on your tasks when needed.

You will be responsible for the change management: negotiating, writing and handling NARs and change orders, contract management, follow-up of bonds, guarantees and acceptance certificates etc.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

besides already mentioned:

  • Purchase Order placement and definition of the Order follow-up plan
  • Management of the correspondence
  • Follow-up tools update
  • Invoices review and validation
  • Management of the claims from/to the subcontractors and any of the issues linked to the subcontractors
  • Contractual milestones tracking, follow-up of remediation actions plans and contracts closing
  •  As well tasks related to budget preparation and follow-up; Risks and Opportunities management; Internal reporting and Writing Lessons Learned

Essential skills

You have an Engineering degree in one of the following disciplines:
electrical, mechanical, industrial or similar, and you have Project Management and Supply-Chain experience

You are expected to be able to coordinate and moderate discussions on technical and commercial issues of average complexity with different entities and hierarchy levels.

Proficiency with following tools is required: Microsoft Office Suite, Documentum and VPRM

Desired skills

Understanding of Nuclear Quality- and Documentation Requirements would be beneficial
