Role description

In close work with the HSE Lead engineer, your role will be to define and check proper application of regulatory requirements, safety system and rules within the project to reach a “Zero Accident” target.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Participates actively to the definition and follow-up of safety requirements for personnel and subcontractors.
  • Adds all necessary items to subcontractor and sourcing contracts.
  • Permanently promotes safety through safety talks, daily shift meetings, monthly safety meetings….
  • Makes sure that safety requirement can and are applied on site (daily site visits)
  • Performs and signs all safety related documents for conformity (such as pre-job briefings, risk analysis, accident analysis…).
  • Performs all necessary safety checks during work and take immediate action when required (up to taking sanctions if necessary).
  • Manages safety events within the project.
  • Defines and follows-up safety related KPIs (number of events, analysis follow-up…).
  • Reports HSE to the Project Director, to the Lead HSE engineer and to the customer.

Essential skills

  • Experience in mastering of safety in construction projects, ideally related to HVAC works and/or Clean Rooms
  • Field oriented
  • Has already been involved in construction projects on the field: show leadership and pedagogy
  • Reporting, internal and customer


This role is a contracting role, initially until March 2023, and will be paid on a day-rate.
