Role description

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a HVAC Design Engineer to join a fast-growing international organization based in France. This is a permanent role, to be involved with dismantling, decommissioning and waste management projects.

Responsibilities

Within the tooling and system service the HVAC and fluid engineer is responsible for:

  • The basic and detailed design of HVAC equipment, fluid circuits (air, water,etc.) and water treatment facilities used for the dismantling of nuclear facilities,
  • The writing of technical specifications,
  • The supervision of the studies made by the subcontractors,
  • The supervision of the studies carried out by subcontractors,
  • The management of one or several engineering assistants or drafters.

Essential skills

  • Master’s degree in HVAC, Fluid Mechanics or Energy Science or bachelor’s degree with a strong background.
  • Significant experience in the nuclear industry, experience in the dismantling of nuclear facilities would be a plus.
  • Experience in the design of HVAC equipment or fluid circuits or water treatment.
  • Operational level of English and ideally French.
  • Native or bilingual level of German.
  • Analytical and summarizing skills.
  • Capacity for teamwork.
