Role description

You will join the team in the development of inventory for geological disposal to support end user needs. As an Inventory Manager, you will use your numerical and statistical analysis skills to successfully be a go-to for expert advice on the nature and quantities of higher activity waste.


In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing focused inventory support to the critical business areas of Waste Management and / or the GDF Siting Project.
  • Acting as a representative at national and international scientific fora and events, on inventory for geological disposal.
  • Maintaining and developing RWM’s inventory toolkits to meet the needs of the inventory team and the wider organisation.
  • Developing, maintaining and communicating RWM’s inventory knowledge and ensuring that the knowledge database in this area remains accessible and its relevance to future work is well-defined.

Essential skills

You will use your communication skills to produce clear and concise written technical work for a wide range of viewers so knowledge of software and disposability assessment processes will be key in your success.
