Role description

As a mechanical PTW officer, you will be technically clarifying work orders and permits to test, as well as creating and validating blockings & simulations (incl. the execution of blockings and simulations).

You will be overseeing In-field operator teams for establishing safe work conditions (equipment alignment, depressurizing, de-energising, locking and tagging)

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Besides already mentioned your tasks include:

  • Coordinating activities with Operating, Construction, Installation, Maintenance and Commissioning units
  • Prepare Permit to Work documentation and ensure strict compliance

 

Essential skills

You have a Mechanical engineering degree or Diploma or experienced qualified journeyman/craftsman/tradesman, with several years’ relevant experience in power plants, oil and gas plants, manufacturing plants.

You are required to have 5 years of experience with mechanical work orders and blockings as a user or 2 years as a provider, and you have detailed knowledge about the mechanical process documentation.

The ability to work on the different process diagram, isometrics, preparation of solution and support for inventories in the field and a general understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and measurement/instrumentation technology is required to succeed in the role.

Also, a general understanding of electrical technology and good computer literacy in MS-Office will be also needed.
