Role description

As a mechanical PTW officer, you will be working for the PSM Organization with technical clarification of work orders and permits to test, and creating and validating blockings & simulations.

The main purpose of the job is to oversee In-field operator teams for establishing safe work conditions (equipment alignment, depressurizing, de-energising, locking and tagging) at all times.

Responsibilities

include besides the already mentioned:
– Execution of blockings and simulations
– Coordination of activities with Operating, Construction, Installation, Maintenance and Commissioning units
– Preparing Permit to Work documentation and ensuring strict compliance

Essential skills

You have a mechanical engineering degree/diploma or you are an experienced qualified journeyman/craftsman/tradesman, with  5 years of relevant experience in power plants, oil and gas plants or manufacturing plants.

You have been working with mechanical work orders and blockings as a user for at least 5 years, or 2 years as a provider (issuer).

You have very detailed knowledge about the mechanical process documentation and you are able to work with the different process diagram, isometrics, preparation of solution and support for inventories in the field.

Also, a general understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and measurement/instrumentation technology are expected from you.
