Role description

As an Operational Planning and Scheduling Deputy Manager, all of your responsibilities have to do with the remaining preventive, corrective and palliative maintenance activities.

You will be checking that the activities fit together in the time schedule and you will be securing the not violation of the operational requirements, technical specifications and other safety requirements.
You prepare temporary operations, incl. review of temporary instructions; inform and guide of critical operations; troubleshoot on a high operational level and liase in regard to implementation of new processes and optimization of existing ones, as well prepare project instructions and procedures.

Tasks include coordination assessment and planning of work orders to be executed (incl. associated nuclear & radiation safety assessment) and coordinating&scheduling of all design changes with hardware impact planned to be executed as well all operating and testing manuals planned.

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Besides the specific tasks already mentioned, you will be responsible for the following general tasks:
– Coordinating the complete scheduling within the integrated master schedule
– Ensuring safe and reliable operation and harmonization of all activities
– Optimization of the schedule in order to avoid blocking conflicts and unnecessary too long system unavailability
– Assisting Operational Planning and Scheduling Manager; leading technical meetings and coordinating work and other staff management duties (recruiting, orienting)

 

Essential skills

After your engineering degree (Mechanical, Process, Electrical or Nuclear) you have gained several years of experience in staff management; work coordination and distribution, recruiting and staff evaluation.

At least 15 years of Nuclear experience in PWR

Expertise in plant operation and/or refuelling outage management and/or overall commissioning are expected,
and your knowledge of scheduling and planning (P6); and of PWR general design, it’s systems (process, electricals and I&C systems) and operational conditions.
