Role description

As an Overall Commissioning Engineer to analyse together with the concerned Commissioning Branches and Operation Integrated Organization the troubleshooting activity arising during the overall test phase period for defining actions to be taken.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

During the overall test phase, when issues/malfunctions occur, the first attempt to solve the issues is to Contact the Commissioning Investigation Team, which is overseen and coordinated by the Overall Commissioning Engineer (OCE).

This will be taking place during the night or during the weekends when the SREs are not available, so the lead of this first investigation is given to this team with broader knowledge in mechanical, electrical, I&C, components, process and risks.

The team is composed of mechanical actuators (components oriented persons) and sensors electrical oriented persons and will act on-site for the Overall Commissioning Engineer (OCE) on shift: under his test permit and in close communication with MCR for equipment manoeuvrability.

Essential skills

You have an engineer degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Process or Electrical field and minimum of 5 years of experience in a NPP with testing and commissioning.

You have good knowledge of the following- PWR systems- basic nuclear reactor physics- thermos hydraulics – PWR chemistry

Desired skills

  • previous OL3 experience is seen as a plus
