Within the OL3 project as Overall Commissioning Engineer, your main duty is to manage, coordinate and follow-up of the commissioning, operation and maintenance activities performed during overall test phases. This is a 10-month assignment, with the possibility of extension. Start as soon as possible.

Role description

Management, coordination and follow-up in real-time of the commissioning, operation and maintenance activities performed during overall test phases, in accordance with the established programs, schedules and particular directives & instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, organization and coordination of the implementation of Plant Overall tests and Plant Performance tests
  • Analyses together with the concerned Commissioning Branches and Operation Integrated Organization of troubleshooting activity arising
  • Can be requested to support Commissioning organization on topics such as: Reviews of Programs and Instructions, Issuance of Reports or Support various project planning and transverse coordination topics

Essential skills

  • Nuclear, Mechanical, Process, or Electrical Engineering degree
  • Min. of 5yrs of experience in Test and Commissioning: testing, commissioning or recommissioning after major refuelling outages on a nuclear power reactor at an operational position
  • Knowledge of PWR systems and chemistry; basic nuclear and reactor physics, and thermal hydraulics.
  • Fluent English

Desired skills

  • Experience on the turbine island
  • Previous experience during cold or hot functional testing on a new build is a plus
