Role description

Ready for a change? Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) is looking for a Performance & Business Planning Lead, to join them in this newly created role responsible for leading the performance and planning function.

You will lead a team of driven individuals as you work to develop the business planning process and take the lead on performance reporting across the organisation. Additionally, you will;

  • Act as the principal subject expert and lead for corporate performance and planning matters, including providing a clear direction for the approach.
  • Lead RWM’s Corporate Performance Reporting and improving reporting across the Corporate Services team and the wider RWM
  • Oversight of reviewing, and implementing improved corporate reporting and related corporate processes and procedures, making recommendations to the Head of Corporate Performance & Governance, and taking ownership of the change
  • Lead the team of performance and planning analysts, developing the function to become the centre of excellence for related issues.
  • Regular Engagement with the NDA Corporate Centre and other key stakeholders, also providing challenge.
  • Ownership of the content and quality of corporate reports prior to issue, pursuing anomalies thereby ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness

You will have experience leading successful teams as well as delivering corporate business/operating plans. Nuclear experience is not required, however, experienced within regulated industries or public sector is ideal.
