Role description

For one of our clients in Finland, we are currently looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be in charge of Attribute Development in support the development of a nuclear new build project. This is an initial 1 year contract assignment to be based in Helsinki, to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Developing Engineering Attribute library in close cooperation with the plant supplier and general designer
  • Acting as a Project Manager for the development project (weekly reporting, schedule activities, ensure resource allocation, remind people to do their tasks, etc.)
  • Collecting information regarding what needs to be developed and presenting to the process owner for decision making
  • Working closely with the information management team and engineers
  • Preparing the needed specifications for the system supplier
  • Preparing other needed documentation such as the internal instructions, system quick guides and training materials

Essential skills

  • Previous experience in handling engineering data and related attributes
  • Understanding of Design development processes and interdisciplinary competences in the area of engineering methods and workflows in large projects
  • Understanding of Process engineering, including: the development of P&ID diagrams and understanding of the use of P&ID diagrams in future design stages
  • Understanding of Thermal hydraulic calculation methods
  • Fluency in English
  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle Development
  • Knowledge in tool-based engineering, especially in the area of engineering databases and CAD applications for process and electrical design (e.g. SPF, E3 Series, NavisWorks, Enovia)
