Thomas Thor is proud to be the exclusive recruitment partner of Magnox, focusing on Decommissioning projects across UK. We are currently looking for a Project Engineer who would like to work on a permanent basis on one of the Magnox 12 decommissioning sites.

About the job:

As a Project Engineer you will provide fit for purpose engineering solutions for projects or engineering support on more complex projects. To ensure that design authority standards and configuration control are applied appropriately.

As a Project Engineer you will:

• Recognise project functional requirements and stakeholder needs for allocated projects
• Developing fit for purpose engineering solutions
• Produce, review and approve project technical specifications.
• Maintain site configuration control of appropriate documentation throughout project life cycle.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Key Skills and Experience:

• Nuclear and/or conventional project engineering experience
• Excellent understanding of national engineering standards
• HNC, Engineering Degree or National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 5/6
• Project Delivery experience
