Role description

For their Nuclear Energy Division, our client is looking for a new team member that participates in the management of the nuclear projects alongside the Project Manager.

The mission consists of monitoring a project, together with the Project Manager, and ensuring the interface with the engineering, quality, and production departments for the EPR HINKLEY POINT C project.

The nuclear Project Engineer will have the opportunity to interface with the customer in more advanced stages of the project, depending on its progress.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Some of the tasks that you will take on are:


  • Analyze the project specifications.
  • Write, verify or coordinate the documents for the manufacturing projects, together with technical experts, such as Quality plan, Manufacturing specifications, Maintenance and operation guides, Maintenance manuals
  • Coordinate the analysis and answer the comments received on the documents



  • Support to production teams when they have questions on design
  • Closely work with production teams in the event of a change in specifications or scope.


Project monitoring:

  • Ensures that the documents for the customer are correct
  • Participate in internal and external follow-up meetings
  • Conduct, with the Project Manager, the follow-up of non-conformities

Essential skills

  • Bac + 4/5 level,
  • General engineer with a mechanical focus, or master’s degree, in mechanics.
  • Experience of 2 to 5 years in the realization of nuclear projects, ideally in valves.
  • Knowledge of French nuclear specifications: CST Valves in particular, and RCC-M.
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PDF editing software
