We have an opportunity for a Project Planner, with experience of complex multi-discipline projects, to join the team responsible for delivering one of the most challenging and largest-scale engineering projects in Europe that are being constructed in the UK.

Role description

As a project planner, you will be responsible for working within the planning team to carry out the scheduling of a variety of design activities related to different elements of the construction site.

Reporting directly to the Lead Project Planner, the job location is primarily based in Lyon, France. However, the selected person must have the personal flexibility to be able to travel on business to other areas of France and possibly the occasional trip to the UK.

Responsibilities

As a Planner, typically you would be responsible for Weekly Progress and Performance Update, Weekly Re-forecast of the program. You will run the Critical Path Analysis, SPI/CPI Analysis, and Variance Analysis.

You will support the Monthly Reporting, the Engineering, and PMO Teams.

Essential skills

To be successful, the experience of large nuclear projects is desirable but other major industry experience would be considered. Experience within the Engineering phase of a project would be essential.

The software you would use is Primavera P6, therefore you should have a solid knowledge of this tool.
