Role description

We are currently looking for an Experienced Planner / Scheduler to review and challenge the EPC Schedule for a nuclear new build project. This is an initial 3 months assignment with possible extentions, starting in June. The role would be based on site in the Netherlands.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Review and challenge the EPC Schedule of the contractors.
  • To take an active role in identifying, defining, and managing the various project tasks and its interfaces (interfaces between contractors, between contractors and the Prime Contractor and between the authorities and the Prime Contractor, etc.) with particular emphasis on the management of engineering activities.
  • To report back to the project managers.
  • To provide real expertise in terms of project scheduling by assessing and communicating the risks associated with the project.
  • To use and develop existing models.
  • To use the latest updates to create labor histograms.
  • To ensure compliance with Health/Safety guidelines.

Essential skills

  • At least 10 years of experience in Planning and Scheduling
  • Experience with EPC projects
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluency in English
