For one of our clients, a well known international company, we are currently searching for a Project Support Services Consultant to join their team. The initial duration would be for 12 months but with the strong possibility for extension.
 
Role Description:
Operation Readiness Program requires two talented individuals to support its Project Managers in the day to day project management activities and provide project support to Operational Readiness Program including planning, risk and issue management, resource monitoring, cost management and control, stakeholder engagement, administrative, procurement, and reporting. Key requirements of the role will be to support the development, controlling and monitoring of the Operational Readiness Projects.
Scope of Work 
The Consultant required to support Project Managers on:
  • Project activities, work streams, work packages as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Day to day development and delivery of projects or key initiatives as required.
  • Maintaining and Enforcing process and procedure.
  • Development and Maintenance of individual Project Schedules for the assigned Projects.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to help develop plans and schedules for Operation Readiness Projects.
  • Analyze threats and opportunities that may impact the schedule and develop recovery plans.
  • Regularly review and update Risk and Issues in ARM to support Project Team
  • Members in driving mitigation actions.
  • Support the development of Change Requests as required.
  • Conduct Impact Assessments of Change Requests on the integrated schedule and its components to support.
  • Provide and or coordinate Monthly Project Progress Reports.
  • Support PMs and SMEs in their understanding and compliance with all procedures for Operation Readiness.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and maintain resource profiles for the projects.
  • Needs to work well within a multi‐cultural, dynamic and changing team.
  • Must be able to convey information clearly and articulately.
  • Track and perform actions related to projects as assigned or directed by the project
  • managers.
  • Develop all materials and presentations required for any required project workshops or meetings.
  • Contribute and perform different planning sessions to develop clear WBSs with a high level project plans and then use these plans as the bases for the project plans.
  • Draft, maintain, manage, and archive all project documents and update them when required
  • Communicate in daily basis with different stakeholders as direct by the project manager to fulfill project requirements and scope.
  • Perform tasks using different PM and management system such as; Oracle, Microsoft Office application, Primavera, Conditional Reporting, etc.
  • Prepare Project Initiation Document (PID), Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project
  • Closure Report (PCR), any other project document as instructed by the Project Manager
  • ARM Risk tool to be updated monthly
  • Monthly reports to relevant stakeholders on progress and ad hoc reports as required
  • Document Weekly Project I Work package checkpoint meetings using formal MOM templates
  • Consistently applied and tracked metrics and KPI’s to demonstrate achievement of training objectives and key benefits
  • Other works as assigned by the Project Manager to ensure adherence to PMO reporting to the Operational Readiness Program
Qualifications:  
The mandatory requirements which the Consultant has to meet in order to comply with are:
  • Bachelor Degree in a Project or Engineering Management related subject or recognized
  • Project Management Certification.
  • PMP or equivalent industry standard qualification
  • Vocational qualifications” IL TES, TOFEL, etc”.
  • 5 years industry experience in project management.
  • First hand understanding of Project Management tools and techniques.
  • An adequate experience using Scheduling planning tools and techniques such as P6.
  • High level of Proficiency with information technology and MS Word, Excel.
  • High and Effective Communication and presentation skills.
Project Management Experience: 
  • 5 Years plus on similar role
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent MS Office and P6 Skills
  • Multicultural, multinational: able to operate in a multicultural, multinational work environment
