Role description

As a Plant Status Management (PSM) Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for Planning and Coordination of all mechanical activities in the Plant, especially HVAC and Civil systems. This will include gathering all tasks from commissioning, construction, maintenance and operation, as well as checking that the activities from all entities fit together in the time schedule.

The main responsibility is to deliver the final mechanical level 1 and level 2 schedules for the project – acting as a schedule owner for level 1 and level 2.

You will be regularly reporting about the schedule and plant progress to the PSM Planning Manager.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

besides already mentioned above:

  • Securing the not violation of the technical specifications
  • Harmonizing the mechanical activities with the electrical and the I&C activities.
  • Defining changes in the planning sequences in order to fulfil the technical specifications and get a more appropriate sequence for the project progress
  • Looking in the future to detect and remove obstacles in time.
  • Organize the PTW activities in order to fulfil the schedule and lead meetings

Essential skills

Mechanical Engineering degree and previous experience in operation in NPP, work planning and PTW.

P6 user knowledge.

Desired skills

– previous experience in OL3-project is highly appreciated, but not mandatory
