Role description

Proactive technical follow-up of the site assigned to them :
  • The quality supervisor ensures that deviations or non-conformities of work performed by the construction contractor are avoided, rather than establishing them;
  • The quality supervisor has the duty to report immediately if a deviation or non-conformity is found;
  • Monitoring that the contractor respects his quality assurance plan and monitoring that the contractor’s quality assurance team takes up its role. For example, the quality supervisor signs the quality follow-up documents drawn up by the contractor and approved in advance by the Lead QA/QC.
  • Preparation of site inspection reports;
  • If necessary, participation in quality audits of suppliers (concrete plants, reinforcement workshops, producers of concrete repair products, etc.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Technical skills:
  • Good knowledge of construction sites :
    • reinforced concrete (standard EN 13670);
    • concrete repair work (EN 1504 series of standards);
  • Work experience in an industrial (nuclear) context is a plus (nuclear safety culture, quality and HSE);
  • Previous experience as a site manager is an advantage;
  • Dutch and understanding of technical texts in English
