Our client is seeking a Radiation Control Technician for a long-term contract located in New Mexico, USA.
This position is responsible for surveillance and analysis/interpretation of radiological data, ensure compliance with radiation protection activities and procedures.
You will assist and mentor employees with on-the-job training in the areas of:
Essentials skills
1-2 years of related experience in implementing radiation protection procedures and reviewing radiological work for proper controls.
DOE experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Educational background
This position may be subject to DOE Order 426.2, Personnel Selection, Training, and Qualification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities. This DOE Order establishes entry-level requirements to ensure employees in the positions can successfully perform the requirements of the job.
